ICDA AND ECDA
The Corrosion Products Division has a skilled staff that can assist you in developing your Internal Corrosion Direct Assessment (ICDA) and External Corrosion Direct Assessment (ECDA) programs. The CPD regularly provides our field sampling services, laboratory analytical services, and reporting for High Consequence Area (HCA) digs and pipe removal sections. The field sampling team is comprised of NACE-certified internal corrosion technologists, who have been performing these types of field services for the natural gas industry since 1988 throughout the mid-Atlantic region of the U. GAS SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS
The Corrosion Products Division provides a complete array of gas stream sampling, analysis, and analytical programs to satisfy your Internal Corrosion Direct Assessment program needs. We can provide our total services to visit your site, collect site information, obtain a gas sample in the Corrosion Products Division’s own prescribed sample containers, and analyze the collected gas sample for parameters such as products of corrosion, the fourteen (14) constituents for determining the BTU of the gas, and/or other parameters that you may require. Conversely, we can furnish sample containers to our clients, who can then collect the samples themselves and return them to us for analysis. DIRECT READING SOLIDS ANALYZER 1
The Corrosion Products Division offers the fastest and most versatile real time handheld XRF analyzer available. On-site and in the laboratory the XRF analyzer can assist in the ECDA and ICDA identification of metals and other elements in soils, solids, scale, pipeline dust, gunk, sludge, and any solid residue in or on the pipe.
